Health Minister Anil Vij today demanded a high-level probe into the release of Pakistan nationals, who were accused of involvement in the Samjhauta Express blast case, soon after the incident.

Vij said, “Pakistan nationals travelling without passport, in the presence of evidence of the blast against them, can’t be released by any junior officer. This was a game plan of the Congress at the national level.”

He said, “I urge the Chief Minister of Haryana and the Central Government to hold a high-level probe into the matter. People should know who hatched the conspiracy to let off the real culprits from Pakistan within 15 days without conducting a lie detector test, brain mapping and collecting other evidence. On the other hand, other people have been lodged in jails for the last seven years. The Congress’ game plan has been exposed.”

He added the Congress by coining the term ‘Hindu terrorism’ was trying to defame the majority community. “Terrorism in India mushroomed during the Congress’ rule and they have always been lukewarm in dealing with terrorists,” he added.

Earlier, Vij inaugurated the ground floor of the newly constructed emergency block of the Civil Hospital in Ambala Cantonment. He said, “All blocks will be constructed by July end. A cath laboratory and a dialysis centre will come up soon.
