Two killed in Karnal head-on collision

KARNAL: Two persons were killed, while two sustained injuries after their motorcycles had a head-on collision near Daulatpur village on the Pingli road on Monday.

Two persons were killed, while two sustained injuries after their motorcycles had a head-on collision near Daulatpur village on the Pingli road on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Vikrant (22), a resident of Rahra village and Parveen (33), a resident of Narukheri village, while the injured, Mukesh, a resident of Rahra and Ravinder, a resident of Narukheri, are said to be in a critical condition.

Vikrant and Mukesh were going towards Karnal, while Parveen and his brother Ravinder were going towards their village from Karnal on bikes. Their bikes collided near Daulatpur village resulting in this tragic incident.

They were taken to a hospital, where Vikrant and Parveen were declared dead. The police have started investigation into the matter.
