Jammu, January 24
Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Security, Munir Ahmad Khan on Thursday granted in-situ promotion to 47 personnel of the security wing of the J&K Police.
The Departmental Promotion Committee met in Jammu on Thursday and cleared the in-situ promotions to 47 personnel — 19 Head Constables, 24 Selection Grade Constables and four Constables — from various subordinate units of the security wing of the J&K Police.
Issuing the promotion order, the ADGP greeted the officials and impressed upon them to work with dedication and devotion for the betterment and service of society and the police department. — TNS
