Industrial package to boost employment in J&K: Ganga

JAMMU: Appreciating the decision of the Centre to extend incentives given to the the North-Eastern states to J&K also, former minister Chander Prakash Ganga on Saturday said the step would prove to be a boon for curbing unemployment and boost the industrial growth.

Appreciating the decision of the Centre to extend incentives given to the the North-Eastern states to J&K also, former minister Chander Prakash Ganga on Saturday said the step would prove to be a boon for curbing unemployment and boost the industrial growth.

Lauding efforts of the Governor’s administration for pursuing and securing this industrial package for the state, Ganga, in a press conference held on Saturday, said, “Jammu and Kashmir has a vast industrial potential with skilled and unskilled manpower. The industrial package will do wonders in generating employment avenues in the state.”

“All skilled and unskilled workers besides youth with expertise in various technical trades like textiles will benefit from this package to a great extent,” said Ganga, adding that the state’s youth will optimally utilise the package to generate employment for themselves and others.
