National Conference vice-president and its likely chief ministerial candidate Omar Abdullah on Tuesday criticised the former PDP-BJP government, alleging Kashmir was suffering due to the fallout of this “disastrous” alliance.

Omar also lashed out Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of adopting a “muscular approach” in the state.

“Midnight raids, crackdowns, rampant arrests, custodial murders and denial of democratic right to choose a government. Kashmir continues to suffer due to the fallout of the disastrous PDP-BJP alliance and the Modi government’s muscular approach in J&K,” Omar said on Twitter.
