Jammu, February 6
An awareness programme on national road safety was organised by the Air Force Wing, Jammu, on Wednesday.
Daleep Pandita, senior divisional manager of New India Assurance Company, was the guest of honour who delivered a lecture on the importance of vehicle insurance, particularly third party insurance for all types of vehicles.
Pandita said last year, the company had settled more than 35,000 motor accident claims in the state. — TNS
