Doabites were in for a surprise as the Congress held a Bhojpuri show for Purvanchalis of Onkar Nagar in bypoll-bound Phagwara. Bhojpuri singer Khushboo Tiwari had been roped in to entertain them. As they swayed to Bhojpuri numbers, people made a beeline to offer them money near the stage. Banners around the stage had photos of its candidate Balwinder Dhaliwal and senior leaders. — TNS
