Two booked for firing

Jalandhar, March 20

A team of the CIA staff-1 today arrested two accused, involved in the AC market shootout and loot incident. The accused were identified as Vivek Mahajan (33), a resident of Ishwar Nagar locality and Reshu (28), a resident of Rasta Colony locality.

They were booked on November 2, last year. The accused were arrested from Y-point, near Bhagat Singh colony. One revolver of .32 bore and five live cartridges were recovered from their possession.

FIR under Sections 307,395,148 and 145 of IPC and 25,27,54 and 59 of the Arms Act was lodged against them at police Division No four. The police said, apart from the AC market incident, they were also booked under several cases at various police divisions of the district.
