Alumni condemn hate campaign against SCD College

The Alumni Association of SCD Government College has condemned the hate campaign by several disgruntled people against the college principal, its staff and students.

The association feels the campaign is bent upon spoiling the academic atmosphere of the institution for ulterior motives in the view of the election scenario. They have made a mountain out of a mole hill on the issue of a skit staged in the college, alleged the Alumni Association.

A large number of alumni were also present during the staging of play. There was no attempt to disrespect any religion in the play. Students wanted to put across the point that even in the age of Lord Rama and Krishna, womanhood was insulted and is still prevalent, the association stated.

“None of the alumni felt it otherwise and the moment someone from the audience raised objections, the principal instructed to stop the skit and the matter was closed, the members of the alumni association said.
