LUDHIANA: Around six persons entered Sacred Heart Convent School, Bhattian, after tying three night duty supervisors with a rope and ransacked the entire school premises. They did not inflict any injury to the school employees. As per sources, the suspects, who were carrying swords, revolvers and pistols, entered the school by scaling the outer wall at around 2.30 am on Friday. They broke open six locks to enter various rooms. They also broke locks of some almirahs, including the one in Principal’s room, from which took away Rs 5,000 in cash. The Salem Tabri police have registered a case against unknown persons and launched a probe. TNS
