LUDHIANA: The Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organization (FICO) in association with Indian Institute of Human Excellence and Development (IIHED) organised a free preview session on ‘Power of Equity’ at Satluj Club Ludhiana on Friday.

The Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organization (FICO) in association with Indian Institute of Human Excellence and Development (IIHED) organised a free preview session on ‘Power of Equity’ at Satluj Club Ludhiana on Friday.

Ashok Devnampriya from Bangalore and Sushil Arora from IIHED were the key note speakers on the occasion. Around 150 members attended the session. Ashok Devnampriya discussed the WD Gyan about the stock market and added that one could get as much as up to 25% returns from the stock market. He also compared the investment in gold with investment in mutual funds.

Sushil Arora discussed the Power of Compounding and the Rule of 72 and explained a simplified way to determine how long an investment will take to double, given a fixed annual rate of interest.

Vijay Arora from Zodix Group said he had participated in the same event Power of Equity earlier also and he is getting very good returns from it. FICO president, Gurmeet Singh Kular, acknowledged Ashok Devnampriya and said today financial investments need an expert’s guidance
