Ludhiana, October 14
The annual Ludhiana District Weightlifting Championship will be held at the Ludhiana Bodybuilding and Weightlifting Club, Rakh Bagh, Civil Lines, here on October 22.
Parvesh Sharma, general secretary of the District Weightlifting Association, said competitions for various age groups would be held during this one-day championship.
Narinder Kumar Sharma, Councillor, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana, will inaugurate the championship at 9 am.
Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Member of Legislative Assembly, will be the chief guest at the prize distribution function.
