Badaun (UP), November 21
Two people were killed when their motorcycle rammed into a stationary road-roller on the Moradabad-Farrukhabad road, police said on Tuesday.
Sunil (24) and Sonu (21) were killed on the spot in the accident near Mundiya Dhurki township late last night, SP, Rural, Surendra Pratap Singh said.
The deceased are said to be relatives and were returning home after attending a wedding, the SP said.
Villagers alleged that despite the road construction work in the area being completed, the road-roller has not been removed causing accidents in the area, the SP added. — PTI.
