Panjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Raj Kumar met Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Minister of Human Resource Development, at New Delhi.
The PU VC apprised him of various development works at the PU.
He requested the minister additional salary grant and the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) grant for Panjab University.
The VC informed him about the ongoing Centenary Year of University’s Campus Teaching which was started way back in 1919 at Lahore and invited the Minister to the PU on October 1 for a function at the PU in this regard.
