Abohar, December 10

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) activists on Monday continued the dharna that was launched on November 25 to protest the alleged failure of the administration in tackling the stray animal menace.

The protesters organised an awareness rally and formed a human chain at a crossing in the town.

Expressing solidarity with AAP workers’ protest, Consumer Movement chairman Satpal Khariwal said people should rise above political considerations to support the cause for which the activists were fighting as the menace had taken lives of several persons in the town.
