AirAsia starts Kuala Lumpur, Amritsar flight

AMRITSAR: AirAsia X has started its inaugural service between the holy city and Kuala Lumpur.



Amritsar, August 17

AirAsia X has started its inaugural service between the holy city and Kuala Lumpur. The maiden flight departed from Kuala Lumpur on Thursday night and landed 10 minutes early at 10:20 pm with over 80 per cent occupancy.

The flight will be available four days a week - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday - both ways. The promotional fare of Rs 5,490 per head one way on standard seat against booking made from August 16 to 26 for travel period between August 16 to January 31, 2019. Besides, flatbed is also available for booking at promotional all-in-fares for Rs 12,900.

Tourism Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu presided over the programme attended by AirAsia X Chairman Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz, AirAsia X CEO Benyamin Ismail and AirAsia X Group Head of Commercial Barry Klipp.— TNS
