ABOHAR: As directed by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh administrations today initiated preparations to arrange buses to facilitate free travel to Sultanpur Lodhi on the occasion of Guru Nanak’s 550th birth anniversary celebrations.

As directed by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh administrations today initiated preparations to arrange buses to facilitate free travel to Sultanpur Lodhi on the occasion of Guru Nanak’s 550th birth anniversary celebrations.

The District Collectors have been told to consult Sikh organisations to finalise the schedule for free bus travel from November 12 to 15 to enable devotees pay obeisance at Sultanpur Lodhi. The facility has been extended to devotees in Alwar, Bundi, Kota, Bikaner, Jaipur and Jodhpur also. The Railways had on November 5 launched a special Sriganganagar-Sultanpur train using the rakes of Kumbh Mela special train. The facility will be available for two weeks.
