Depressed over financial crisis, a businessman allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his house here last night.
His son Subhash Khunger said a few persons yesterday threatened his father to pay his debt. “This morning, we found him lying dead with foam oozing out of his mouth,” he said. The police have booked Varinder Gupta, his son Jagdeep Singh, two officials of Punjab State Tubewell Corporation Limited, and others. — TNS
