The Jalandhar rural police have arrested the mastermind behind the loot of Rs 1.18 crore from a cash van at Bhogpur near here on November 10

Police had arrested two of the seven accused the day after the incident.

The 25-year-old Satinder Pal Singh, a postgraduate in computer science was earlier working with HDFC Bank. He, along with two others, was arrested from Rajasthan.

An amount of Rs 61 lakh has been recovered from him.

Two of the seven accused are still absconding.
