CHANDIGARH: Dengue and chikungunya have started tightening their grip around Punjab with a large number of cases being reported from the state in the past two months.

Dengue and chikungunya have started tightening their grip around Punjab with a large number of cases being reported from the state in the past two months.

According to the latest statistics compiled by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, so far more than 3,500 confirmed cases of dengue have been reported. Besides, around 9,000 suspected cases of dengue have also been reported in this season so far. — TNS
