Government Girls Model Senior Secondary School (GGMSSS), Sector 18, registered a 2-0 win over Hockey Stadium, Sector 42, on the second day of the State Sub-Junior Hockey Championship here on Wednesday.
Maya scored the opening goal of the match in the fifth minute and two minutes later, Rakhi doubled the tally for GGMSSS, Sector 18. The side then held on to the lead till final hooter to seal a comfortable win.
The side will face GMHS, Sector 25, on Thursday. In another match, Rock Rovers Club will lock horns with GMHS, Sector 42.
