Rotary Club’s ‘Anand the Joy’ conference begins

The ‘Anand the Joy’ conference, organised by Rotary District 3080, began on Saturday in Zirakpur. Representatives from 108 clubs across Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh participated in this two-day event under the supervision of District Governor Arun Mongia.

The conference welcomed special guests,including IPDG Pawan Aggarwal and Uttarakhand MLA Kishore Upadhyay. Addressing the gathering, DG Arun Mongia shared insights into the Rotary’s past accomplishments and future endeavours.

A social reformer from Akshardha Swami Narayan Temple, Dr Gyanvatsal Swami, spoke about the significance of service and philanthropy. The event featured performances by the Rudram Dance Group along with folk dances from Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
