Self-defence training for BPL women in Haryana

Chandigarh, July 24

The Haryana Government has launched a programme to make women and girls living below poverty line (BPL) self-reliant with the spirit of Antyodaya during the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Through the Haryana Mahila Vikas Nigam, women of eligible families will be given training as drivers and in self-defence by the state government.

The women willing to take driver and self-defence training could apply online till August 22.
