DHARAMSALA: Army officer Lt Chaitania Sharma was killed when the car in which he was travelling fell in a gorge on McLeodganj-Dharamsala road on Wednesday morning.

Army officer Lt Chaitania Sharma was killed when the car in which he was travelling fell in a gorge on McLeodganj-Dharamsala road on Wednesday morning.

The other occupant of the car, Lt Dikshit Bal, was critically injured.

Army jawans from Dharamsala cantonment reached the accident site and carried out the rescue operation. Injured Lt Bal was admitted to Zonal Hospital in Dharamsala and he is said to be out of danger.
