Rampur, February 29
A blood donation camp was organised on the first death anniversary of Kirti Chakra awardee Pawan Kumar Dangal at Mahatma Gandhi Medical Services Complex, Khaneri, in Rampur Bushahr.
During the camp, fruits were distributed to the patients at the complex. Apart from the local people, police personnel also partcipated in the camp organised by the Lakshmi Narayan Welfare Society. As per an official of the society, the aim of the camp was to inspire the youth to join the Army. He said the youth should give up drug addiction and think about serving the country.
Blood donation in-charge, Dr Padam said a large number of people came forward to donate blood.
Kinnu village’s former head Yashpal said a large number of people from Dangal’s panchayat participated in the camp.
Head of Laxmi Narayan Welfare Society Harishchandra Laktu urged the youth to participate in such noble activities and serve the country enthusiastically.
