Chamba, September 14

Kangra Lok Sabha MP Kishan Kapoor on Tuesday inaugurated a photo exhibition on Mahatma Gandhi’s visits to Shimla, to mark the 113rd foundation day of the Bhuri Singh Museum in Chamba.

Kapoor lauded the efforts of the museum management in making the youth aware of the contribution of the Father of Nation to the freedom struggle and his work in eradication of evils spread in the society.

Kapoor said the museum was the oldest in the state. The artifacts and historical documents present there made researchers and tourists aware of the tradition and the history of the district. — TNS
