Two unidentified bike-borne robbers looted a finance company office in Dhyan Singh Colony in Phagwara in the wee hours on Tuesday. The robbers entered the office of the Finance Company and looted millions of rupees. SHO of Satnampura Police Station Harjit Singh said office manager Sukhdev Singh and another employee Parvesh Kumar and a woman Sunita Rani and her daughter were present on the occasion while the rest of the staff had gone out.

The robbers threatened Sunita Rani, grabbed one of the keys to the safe, aimed pistol at the temple to get the other keys, took the keys and made off with cash worth Rs4.11 lakh. The incident was reported to the police. SP Phagwara Harinderpal Singh, DSP Ashru Ram Sharma, SHO Harjit Singh, CIA staff in-charge Sikander Singh rushed to the spot and inspected the spot and registered a case under Section 392 of the IPC and started investigation. The robbers are said to have been captured on the CCTV. The police are investigating the matter on various angles.
