DCP (Investigation) Gurmeet Singh said: “Honey was among the other suspects who went inside the office of the victim and attacked him. He was roaming in the area after committing the crime. The police arrested him while he was on his way to Jalandhar with his acquaintances.”

He said: “A revolver, four bullets and a knife were seized from Harjinder. The police have registered cases under the relevant sections of the IPC and the Arms Act against the suspect.

Until now, five of the nine suspects — Harjinder Singh; Pradeep Kumar, alias Deepa, a resident of Kabir Nagar; Bikramjit Singh, alias Nihang; Ruby of Preet Nagar; and Jatinderjit Singh alias Dara; — have been arrested.
