Hoshiarpur, August 27
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hoshiarpur Isha Kalia launched the revamped bilingual, English, Punjabi and official website of district Hoshiarpur. The website can be accessed through https://hoshiarpur.gov.in or https://hoshiarpur.nic.in . The DC said this website was developed as secure, scalable and sugamaya website as a service (S3WaaS) framework.
She said the website was a generating and deployment product hosted on the National Cloud of National Informatics Centre and adhered to guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW). She further explained that website had a responsive design and was easily accessible through internet-enabled devices like desktops, smart phones and tablets.
Even the color-blinds could change the color contrast for smooth access and visually-impaired persons could use screen reader software to read web pages.—OC
