2 held for labourer’s murder

LEH: The district police have claimed to solve a blind murder case of a Nepali labourer within eight hours of its information to the police.

The district police have claimed to solve a blind murder case of a Nepali labourer within eight hours of its information to the police.

In a press statement issued today, the district police said a team of the Leh police station and Housing Colony police post solved the murder of the Nepali labourer that took place on September 8 near New Bus Stand in Leh.

The Nepali labourer, Dhan Bahadur Kharati, was killed in a rented room near New Bus Stand. The police team arrested the two accused, who were about to flee Leh, from different locations.

The accused were identified as Lalu Sah and Raja Babu, both residents of Bihar and working as electricians. They were living in the rented room near New Bus Stand and killed Dhan Bahadur during a scuffle that took place among them due to some money owed to the deceased.
