Students’ assn appoints new office-bearers

Jammu, April 15

The Chenab Valley Students’ Association formed its new state body at a function held in Jammu University on Monday.

Mehran Anjum Mir was appointed state president, while Kailash Manhas was made the vice-president.

Aftab Zakir Keen and Sanjeet Thakur will be new general secretaries. Drawer Jhangeer will hold the post of secretary.

The Chenab Valley Students’ Association is the student wing of the Chenab Valley People’s Association.

Fairoz Khan, the founding member of the student association, congratulated the newly formed body and said the organisation was purely non-political and committed to the cause of students from the Chenab valley region.
