Simran Dhillon

Sheetal

The 22-year-old Tik-Toker from Nawanshahr, Punjab, Simran Dhillon was a state-level badminton player. He would have followed in his parents’ footsteps, who are doctors, had he not discovered his talent for making videos. Two years later, he is all set to feature in a music video.

Your first assignment...

It was an event portfolio shoot. I enjoyed every bit of my first professional outing.

The most interesting shoot so far and why...

It is for the song Kurbaan. I had to wake up early and walk 3-km on a railway track to capture a scene. We shot it in Kasauli.

Which one do you consider your big break?

I believe it is yet to come.

A designer you wish to walk for?

I haven’t got an opportunity to do ramp walks. But who wouldn’t like to be the muse of the leading designers of India? I would like to work with all of them.

A fashion tip for youngsters?

There’s no trend that one cannot ace with enough confidence. You just have to add a personal touch to it according to your body type.

If not a model, then...

A doctor without a doubt, just like my parents.

Your current style obsession

Loafers. Currently I am wearing it everywhere.

What is your daily routine like?

I wake up at 6 am and hit the gym. After a quick shower, I visit a Gurdwara. After that, I check all my social media handles and then work on the ideas that hit me. I do play badminton in the evening.

What will you wear to a date?

Casuals. A black t-shirt with a pair of straight-fit jeans and loafers.

Your health quotient?

It would be to eat four times a day at the right time.

Wardrobe must-haves?

Perfumes, t-shirts, fur jackets and jeans.

Lockdown attire

If you mean what I wear for comfort, lockdown or no lockdown, then it’s t-shirts and shorts.

Hangout place in the region…

I enjoy driving around with my friends and hangout at famous eating joints in Ludhiana.

Career goals?

To start my own music company one day.

Next place on your travel list?

Dalhousie and Jaipur.

A celeb’s gym look you admire...

Tiger Shroff.

Healthy snack you munch on...

Anything from Subway.

Quote that you live by?

‘It’s hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.’ -Theodore Roosevelt

An exotic place you would like to have your date?

Maldives.

Celebrity you admire or wish to date?

Sonam Bajwa.

How do you unwind?

Late night drives help me relax.
