When did the idea of becoming an actor occur?

One day my best friend Teja suggested that I participate in a beauty pageant and I did that. Then I represented India at Miss Tourism International 2015. After the pageant, I steered the course of life towards acting and yes, I am ever grateful to my late friend.

How was the struggle in the initial days?

When you start your journey, you don’t know where to go and whom to approach. But then you learn things with time and that’s how I got in touch with a few casting directors and then my real journey started.

What is your role in Bhaukaal Season 2?

I am playing the character of Pooja Sekera, who is the wife of inspector Navniet Sekera (played by Mohit Raina).

Was it difficult to shoot during the pandemic?

Not really. Bhaukaal was the biggest opportunity that came my way and it changed the course of my career. And life had to go on despite the pandemic.

Besides acting, you are also interested in fashion. Tell us about it.

Yes, I am a fashionista and I like to design my outfits. Soon, I would like to have my own label and I am working on it.

What kind of series do you like to watch on OTT?

I don’t have a specific kind of favourite but yes, I like romantic drama.

Any movie in the pipeline?

I am to yet sign the contract for a film, so it will be too soon to talk about the details.
