37 companies participate in 2nd job fair

Ludhiana, September 13

As many as 37 companies participated in the second job mela held today under seventh state level mega job fairs by the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise (DBEE) at Gulzar Group of Institutes under the Ghar-Ghar Rozgaar programme.

The job mela was inaugurated by MLA Gurkirat Singh Kotli. The MLA said a total of 37 leading companies participated and 1,409 participants have been shortlisted for jobs.

Several leading companies, including SBI, LIC, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI, Star Health Insurance, Flipkart and Just Dial, took part in the job mela. Kotli exhorted the youth to avail themselves the benefits of upcoming job melas to be held on September 15 at the SRS Government Polytechnic College of Girls.
