Certificate distribution ceremony

Ludhiana: Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana, organised a ‘certificate distribution ceremony’ for winners of the ‘Cultural fest-cum-talent hunt competition 2021’. The fest provided opportunity to students to showcase their talent and select students for various inter-college and university-level competitions. Events in the fest included fine arts, heritage, literary, public speaking, theatrical and quiz. Different sub-events comprised collage-making, still life drawing, cartooning, poster-making, etc. A total of 40 winners and 21 students of organising committee were felicitated during the ceremony. Prof Vishal Kumar, principal of the college, congratulated the cultural fest team and motivated prize winners.

National Energy Conservation Day

CT University observed ‘National Energy Conservation Day’ by organising various activities. Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice-Chancellor, CT University, said the university followed ‘Power off-electricity conservation’ on the campus for an hour and used minimal energy during the day and took a pledge for not wasting energy unnecessarily. A poster-making event was organised where students displayed charts with the message of controlling wastage of energy and marking themselves responsible. A session on rainwater harvesting and utilization was also conducted by the Department of School of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, in which students of BSc (Agriculture) gave a model presentation, portraying the message of importance of rainwater harvesting.
