Ludhiana, July 3

An AAP leader has blamed the MC for damaging some plants while dismantling a divider on the Jodhewal Basti market road here.

Chander Pal, AAP leader, said the divider was also in a good condition but it was dismantled. “No attention was paid to secure the plants when the divider was being dismantled. About seven-eight plants were damaged,” he said.

Executive Engineer, MC, Surinder Singh said the divider was already damaged due to which they are now renovating it. “No plant was damaged during the dismantling of the divider. Some plants had already got damaged in the past. Now, we will plant more saplings on the renovated divider,” he said. — TNS
