Two test positive in Ludhiana district

Ludhiana, September 9

Two persons tested positive for Covid, while no person lost his/her life due to the disease in the district today. The recovery rate of Covid-19 patients has reached 97.57 per cent. There are 31 active patients in the district at present and no patient is admitted to hospital for the treatment of Covid at present.

Till date, a total of 23,54,391 samples have been taken, of which 22,55,233 samples were found negative. Samples of 9,003 suspected patients were sent for testing today and their results are expected shortly. The total number of patients belonging to Ludhiana is 87,494, while 11,664 patients belong to other districts/states.

The total number of patients who lost their lives to the disease is 2,098 from Ludhiana and 1,049 from other districts.
