WhatsApp number issued to counter borewell issues

Ludhiana, June 15

In view of a recent accident due to open borewell in district Sangrur, the District Administration Ludhiana has issued a WhatsApp number (99154-08834) where the residents of district Ludhiana can provide information so that no such accident takes place in the district.

Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Pradeep Kumar Agrawal has appealed to the residents that if they have any information about open borewells, they can bring it to the notice of the District Administration Ludhiana immediately so that precious lives can be saved.

He said that to ensure that there are no open borewells in Ludhiana, strict instructions have already been issued to all the SDMs, heads of all government departments as well as the officials concerned.
