Youth leadership training camp

LUDHIANA: Students of Shree Atam Vallabh Jain College added another feather to their cap by securing positions in the youth leadership training, hiking, trekking and rock climbing camp, which was organised by the Department of Youth Welfare, Panjab University, Chandigarh, at Solan, Himachal Pradesh, from June 15 to 23.

Students of Shree Atam Vallabh Jain College added another feather to their cap by securing positions in the youth leadership training, hiking, trekking and rock climbing camp, which was organised by the Department of Youth Welfare, Panjab University, Chandigarh, at Solan, Himachal Pradesh, from June 15 to 23.

As many as 132 students from 21 colleges from across Punjab participated in the camp. A total of six students from the college participated in the camp. Kartik Sharma of BBA was declared the Best Camper in the training camp. He also bagged second position in debate and poem recitation competition. Angela Ahuja of BCom-I secured second position in quote-writing, while Riya Verma of BBA-I got a consolation prize in poem recitation competition.
