I-T notice to Pawar over poll affidavits

Mumbai: NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Tuesday said the Income Tax Department had served him a notice in connection with his poll affidavits. Pawar said the EC had sought his “clarification and explanation” on some affidavits. “We are happy they (the Centre) love us from among all members... The tax notice was served on the EC’s directions,” he said. PTI
