Chandigarh: Work in the DC offices across the state has come to a halt as the Punjab Deputy Commissioners’ Employees Union has gone on an indefinite strike over unfulfilled demands. Chandigarh: PWD and School Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla on Saturday said the government had decided to name the Malaud-Butahari Pul road after Sant Baba Meenha Singh (Riar Wale). He said local leaders led by Payal MLA Lakhbir Singh Lakha had sent a representation seeking naming of the road after the religious leader. tns
