Abohar: The CIA staff of the police here seized 300 grams of opium from Gurbhinder Singh of Bhangala village, who was held under the NDPS Act. 21 grams of heroin was seized from Karaj Singh of Moga and Gurpreet Singh of Gharsana. A case under the NDPS Act was registered against the duo. OC
Two held for robbery
Abohar: The police here arrested Gurnishan Singh and Gursimran Singh of Sarawan Bodla village in a case of attack and robbery that occurred at a petrol pump in Maujgarh village last week. Salesman Ram Chander said after a bike stopped at the petrol pump late at night to get fuel, the masked pillion placed a sharp-edged weapon on his neck. The miscreants took cash and three mobile phones with them.
