This Christmas, gear up for a different tree — made all of books. The English Book Shop-17, Chandigarh, has all the bestsellers of year 2014 arranged in the shape of a tree with a Merry Christmas star decorated on the top. The six-feet tall tree has some 650 books like The Half Girlfriend by Chetan Bhagat, Take Me Home by Rashmi Bansal, When Only Love Remains by Durjoy Datta, And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini, William Dalrymple's Nine Lives: Into the Mystic, Letters for a Nation: From Jawaharlal Nehru and the likes.
"It was my son Pranjal Prakash Chaudhary's idea to do up the tree," says Rajiv Chaudhary, partner, English Book Shop.        — TNS
