FAZILKA: After falling into the list of 255 water-stressed districts of the country, the Fazilka administration has come up with a short film “paani di kahani” to spread awareness among residents to save water.



Fazilka: After falling into the list of 255 water-stressed districts of the country, the Fazilka administration has come up with a short film “paani di kahani” to spread awareness among residents to save water. DC Manpreet Singh Chhatwal released the poster and promo of the film. He said after a survey on depleting groundwater, the Centre and the state government had jointly taken many steps to come out from water crisis and maintain the quality of underground water. “This short initiative has been taken under the Union Government’s Jal Shakti Abhiyan. The film will portray the crisis of water and talk about methods to tackle the problem,” said the DC. OC
