Celebrating the joy and spirit of Christmas, the students of Beyond English, a language-training academy, presented an entertaining evening at Punjab Natshala. The annual show of Beyond English coincided with Christmas festivities as children of different age groups performed three short skits.

The children between the age group of three to six years presented Christmas special, “Grinch who Stole Christmas”, based on popular children’s tale. The second presentation was by students between seven-12 years of age about the ill effects of noise pollution. The short play was called, “Horn Ok, No Please”, and it talked about the increasing noise pollution in the city. The third and final presentation of the evening was on a serious topic of parent-child relationship. Taking a cue from parenting concepts, the play depicted the conflicts and the solutions on several parenting problems. Shalini, director, Beyond English, said, “The effort was to make students learn about communication and creative expression.”
