Two vehicle lifters arrested

AMRITSAR: The city police on Tuesday arrested two vehicle lifters and recovered three motorcycles from their possession. The accused have been identified as Jobanjit Singh of Dharmpura and Mahesh Kumar, a resident of Jora Phatak.

Amritsar, April 23

The city police on Tuesday arrested two vehicle lifters and recovered three motorcycles from their possession. The accused have been identified as Jobanjit Singh of Dharmpura and Mahesh Kumar, a resident of Jora Phatak. The accused had recently stolen a motorcycle parked outside a gymnasium at Batala Road. The incident was record in CCTV cameras. The police identified the accused and raided their hideout.

ASI Gurjit Singh, in charge, Vijay Nagar police post, said the police had started further investigation.
