Voter awareness camp held at Gobindgarh Fort

AMRITSAR: Under the instructions of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District-Electoral Officer, voter registration officer Anamjot Kaur held a voter awareness camp at Gobindgarh Fort ahead of Lok Sabha elections.

Under the instructions of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District-Electoral Officer, voter registration officer Anamjot Kaur held a voter awareness camp at Gobindgarh Fort ahead of Lok Sabha elections. The camp primarily educated voters about the EVM and VVPAT machines and also were made aware regarding procedures followed while casting a vote.

“We are focused on ensuring that each and every registered voter is involved in the electoral process. We have been carrying out voter awareness camps under SVEEP in all major constituencies and have also released a toll free number 1950, where voters can call and enquire about any doubts or queries regarding the voting process,” informed Anamjot Kaur.

Approximately 80 voters participated in the awareness camp and 46 students from various schools also participated in slogan writing event under SVEEP.
