Man detained with two empty bullet shells

BATHINDA: A resident of Muktsar district was detained on Saturday at Bathinda Domestic Airport for allegedly carrying two empty bullet shells.

A resident of Muktsar district was detained on Saturday at Bathinda Domestic Airport for allegedly carrying two empty bullet shells.

According to information, at 10 am, suspect Sandeep Kumar from Arianwala village in Muktsar district reached the airport to board a flight for Jammu.

But during a checking by security officials at the entry, two empty bullet pellets were recovered from his pocket.

Thereafter, cops from the Balluana police post reached the spot after started a probe into the incident. 

Bathinda SSP Dr Nanak Singh said “Two empty bullet pellets have been recovered from a person during a checking at the airport.” He said according to the preliminary investigation, a person had an arm license in his name and two days ago, he had fired twice at his house. Police officers said no case had been registered so far as they were probing the matter.
