Prayers pour in for Fatehveer

The support for Fatehveer poured in on social media, with a large number of people posting on their social media Facebook and Twitter accounts for the safe rescue of the little child.

SAD president and MP Sukhbir Singh Badal posted on his Facebook account that “Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh needs to take responsibility for the tardy and unprofessional rescue operation undertaken by his government to rescue two-year-old Fatehveer from a borewell at Bhagwanpura village in Sangrur.

“Had Amarinder Singh called in experts on time, things would have been different. Instead, he left things to the district administration and volunteers. My heart goes out to the affected family which has been failed by the Congress government and the CM, who did not even respond for more than two days. The state government has let a toddler, his parents and all of us down by its ineffective response. I pray that #Fatehveer is safely reunited with his family soon.”

Union Minister for Food Processing Harsimrat Kaur Badal posted on her Facebook stating “Two-year-old #Fatehveer Singh, who is stuck in a 125-foot-deep #borewell in Bhagwanpura village of Sangrur for past three days, is expected to be rescued. My prayers for his safe & sound return”.

Congress MLA Amarinder Singh Raja Warring posted that “we should pray for the life of Fatehveer, who is lying stuck in a borewell in Sangrur”.

Arjuna awardee and international shooter Avneet Sidhu posted on her Facebook post stating “Sad state of affairs. Fatehveer still not out, kudos to those who are making continuous efforts to pull him out, but it shows we are not well equipped to deal with such situations and neither are we responsible enough to prevent these incidents and why no help is being taken from Army ? Hope and wish the little child survives through all this.”
