Two booked for stealing Rs 27,000

BATHINDA: The Civil Lines police have booked two unidentified persons for stealing Rs 27,000 from a liquor shop situated near the 100-ft road.

The Civil Lines police have booked two unidentified persons for stealing Rs 27,000 from a liquor shop situated near the 100-ft road.

In his complaint, Suneel Kumar, a worker at the liquor shop, has stated that two unidentified persons came on a motorcycle and demanded liquor from him. “As I went inside to bring liquor, they stole Rs 27,000 and fled from the spot,” he said.

Rashpal Singh, Station House Officer, Civil Lines, said, “Two unidentified men came on a motorcycle and stole Rs 27,000 from the liquor shop on the 100-ft road. We have registered an FIR against two unidentified persons under Section 380 of Indian Penal Code (IPC). We are investigating the matter and trying to nab the accused.” — TNS
